No groundhogs in this post

But there's a squirrel shaking the bird feeder outside. She's brilliant, using the droop of a snow-weighted tree limb to defeat the plastic anti-squirrel guard. The shaking is sending bird seed flying all over, and five wood ducks are scooping up the droppings ten feet below. The smaller birds (the chosen ones inverted to preterite) are nearby, angry (very angry) at all this. They're preparing Molotov cocktails.
