Spring cleaning. Emptying a box of old documents for shredding or burning. Remember when people kept paper things? Amazing little time machine. Found: the jeweler's appraisal for Jessica's engagement ring (ancient history!); the invoice from the moving company that moved us to Maine; the case file from the time my car got stolen; old credit card bills from various time periods like itemized biographies.
