Second read of this one. What is about post-apocalyptic fiction I find so compelling? What is it about me that I find post-apocalyptic fiction so compelling? The first story (the title story) and the last (the novella) just crush me when I think of my own writing in comparison. So good. His, I mean. Not mine.
